American Visitors

Last month two of my best friends from college (university), John and Joel, came to visit me for a week in Spain.  Although it was a short stay, we crammed seven days full of going to the beach, driving around the Murcia region, visiting the city of Granada, witnessing the festivities of Semana Santa, and eating as many tapas as possible.  The three of us teamed up with my roommate Ellie and good friend Phil (both English) and didn't waste a minute--excluding the time spent trying to receive Spanish costume service by phone on Good Friday.

There have been many experiences during my time in Spain that I felt like words and pictures couldn't quite capture the energy for my readers.  Sometimes these moments are better represented through video.  My week with John and Joel was certainly one of them.

Here are two videos I created of John and Joel's visit.  The first is just a general breakdown of the stay.



The second one focuses on Joel and his inability to keep his head out of the trees while we were in Granda.  He was obsessed with all the flowers in bloom.  Seeing that he's my unofficial, adopted big brother, I was obligated to make video making fun of his overactive nose.
