I'm still snapping, clicking, and typing away to create a new blog. Here are some changes to be anticipated:
- A new theme. Blog posts will still explore random, quirky aspects of living in Spain. But each post will highlight a "lesson learned" and advice to be shared with other guiris living in Spain. So whether you're an expat searching for help at a locutorio or a compatriot wanting to escape your cubicle for a few moments, my goal is to give you something to enjoy reading.
- A new web address. This current web address (www.pocospain.blogspot.com) will soon be automatically redirected to the new web address www.guiriguia.com. (My first domain name!! A big moment in a blogger's life.) You can use either address to access this blog, but I would recommend the new one.
- A new layout. You may have already noticed. I need to remind myself of my "design goal" for this year (actually, for life in general): Keep it simple, stupid." Feel free to remind me of this when the blog starts to get too visually stimulating.
- A new face. Well, it's still my face. But you may see a lot more of it. I'm going to attempt video blogs this time around. We'll see how it goes.
- A new inbox. As you can see from the top of the sidebar, I'm now encouraging readers to email me at guiriguia@gmail.com. Leaves comments on posts or emails in my inbox. Feedback is certainly welcome.
- A new year. Another trans-Atlantic flight, school year, contract, and lease. It all starts again in October.
